An Approach to Making
Craftsmanship at PNARU is rooted in clarity and control. Each piece is developed through a disciplined process that prioritizes structure, proportion, and material integrity. Rather than excess or decoration, the focus is on how a piece feels in use, how it holds its form, and how it supports the silhouette.
Making is approached as an extension of design. From early form studies to final finishing, every stage is guided by intention and restraint.
PNARU works with carefully selected leathers and suedes chosen for their texture, durability, and ability to maintain structure over time. Materials are assessed not only for their initial appearance, but for how they respond to wear and daily use.
PNARU pieces are produced in small batches in specialized workshops in Türkiye. Production is kept intentionally controlled to maintain consistency in construction, material handling, and finishing.
This approach allows for close oversight throughout the making process, ensuring that each piece reflects the intended balance between form, function, and restraint.
